Karl Lentz, D.V.M.

Dr. Lentz is owner and Medical Director of All Bay Animal Hospital. A native of California, Dr. Lentz grew up in Orange County and moved north to attend Veterinary school after graduating from California Polytechnic University, Pomona, with a Bachelors Degree in Biology in 1980. Dr. Lentz attended and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from the University of California, Davis, in 1985 and entered private practice soon thereafter. Dr. Lentz purchased All Bay Animal Hospital in 1987.

Dr. Lentz is experienced in the treatment of most small animals. “If you can fit it through my front door, I’ll see it” he has said on several occasions. Dogs and cats are his specialty but he also enjoys working with reptiles, small mammals, and birds.

At home, Dr. Lentz enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife Dao and young daughter Sydney. He is an avid golfer and tennis player but also spends quality time in the garden. Fruit trees and flowers are his preference. His wife prefers vegetables so they always have a good supply of edibles and flowers through the seasons.

Other hobbies of Dr. Lentz include traveling, scuba diving, jet skiing, hiking, biking, and jogging. He also enjoys watching golf, tennis, and mixed martial arts on TV.

Philip Bedros, D.V.M.

Dr. Bedros grew up in Egypt and graduated with his degree in Veterinary Science and Surgery from the University of Cairo, Egypt in 1968. He immigrated with his wife and first son to California in 1981 and has worked at All Bay Animal Hospital since 1991. Prior to immigrating, Dr. Bedros spent 5 years in the Egyptian Military Service as a surgery room assistant and in the pharmacy. He also has obtained diplomas in both infertility and artificial insemination. Although originally trained as a large animal veterinarian, Dr. Bedros has enjoyed the past 22+ years working with dogs, cats, and other small animal pets.

Dr. Bedros spends the majority of his free time with his family that consists of his wife Magda, sons Samuel, David, and Peter, and David’s wife Rachel. Dr. Bedros enjoys time spent with his church, and activities around the house. He enjoys gardening, ping-pong, and watching TV. Basketball, tennis, American Idol, and I Love Lucy are some of his favorites.

Dr. Bedros is active in the local Concord Bible Church. He is a talented piano player and sings solos at his church services.

Adrienne Hou, D.V.M.

Dr. Hou earned her veterinary degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.  She has worked in both private practice and non-profit organizations prior to relocating back to California.

She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, especially preventative care and helping clients make informed decisions regarding their pet’s medical needs.

Dr. Hou shares her home with two beautiful cats, Tumbelina and Mewlington. She has a reactive mixed-breed dog named Elliott-Bobo. In her spare time she enjoys reading classic fiction, crocheting holiday-themed dog bandanas, and going on outdoor adventures with her handsome mutt.
