Happy Spring! We made it through an entire year of curbside service! Thank you for your continued support as we learned ways to better serve you and your fur babies during these challenging times. With our ultimate goal of reopening, we are working to create a safe environment to share with you. Until further notice, we are continuing CURB-SIDE service. In order to keep our staff and clients safe, we will not allow you to accompany your pet into the hospital at this time. We will excitedly welcome you back inside as soon as we can safely do so.
We apologize for the inconvenience that this creates. If you experience extended wait times, please be patient with our curbside service as we navigate through these difficult times. Please kindly leave us feedback so that we can work to improve our service for you. We encourage you to plan ahead before making an appointment and know what to expect when you arrive.
We ask that you plan to leave your pet for a few hours while the doctor provides a thorough examination and written report. You will receive 2 phone calls within 2 hours from your appointment time. The doctor will call to discuss exam findings and recommendations followed by a staff member to provide pricing and obtain approval for services. We will call you a third time when your fur baby is ready to go home and discharge times may vary up to 6:00pm. Please make sure we have the best phone number to reach you at during your pet’s stay with us.
In order to keep everyone safe, we ask that you reschedule any appointments if you have been exposed or tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days or if you’ve had any symptoms.
Upon arrival, please park along the red curb at the back door and CALL to check in over the phone. Any nurses outside are locating clients and keeping our hospital flow going, reception will be available by phone for check-ins and payments. Reminder…we are still not accepting cash or checks.
After your pet is checked in, we ask that you stay by the phone and remain available. Services can’t be rendered without your approval so in order to expedite your pet’s hospital stay, we need to be able to reach you.
If you have called to schedule an appointment, you may have noticed we are booked out a couple of weeks. We are asking you to please plan ahead whenever possible. If your pet is not feeling well or you have a concern, it is best to call sooner rather than wait until it is urgent, as we may not have same day availability and we’ll need to refer you to SAGE on Monument Blvd. or VCA Encina on Ygnacio Valley Rd.
As essential workers, we have a responsibility to our team, clients, and ourselves to stay as safe as possible. Your patience is more than appreciated at this time. We are happy to be here for your family during these difficult times. We promise that we are doing everything we can to prepare for safe reopening procedures and we will keep you informed of these changes as they unfold. We are looking forward to re-connecting with all of you and returning to normal operations as soon as its safely possible.
Thank you again for your cooperation as we strive to exceed your expectations under these unfortunate circumstances.
Stay Safe and Be Well,
All Bay Animal Hospital Team
